About me

From Oguta
to Hull.

I’m Ebenezer Aniemeka, though plenty of people just call me Peacemaker.

I grew up in Oguta, where I went to Oguta Primary School and then Trinity High School.

I studied Business Administration at the University of Lagos and graduated in 2012. People there called me “Calculators” because of my drive for business, and I was named Best Entrepreneur of the Year.

In 2022 I finished an MBA in Management at Ajayi Crowther University. After moving to the UK I did a Master’s in Marketing Management at the University of Hull, which I completed in 2024.

I’ve worked in healthcare and public health as a Brand Manager and a Digital Marketing Manager, where I helped improve services and grow revenue. I’ve also worked in support and care roles, helping people in the community.

These days I work in adult social care, supporting people living with dementia. It means a lot to me. I came to Hull as a student, and I want to give something back.

Why “Peacemaker”?

Listen first. Bring people together.

A lot of students started calling me Peacemaker and it stuck. I’ve always liked helping people find opportunities and backing anyone who needs a hand. I work the same way in the community: listen first, get people talking to each other, and look for something practical that works.

On the ballot paper my full name appears as Ebenezer Chiagozia Aniemeka.
